    I bought a £20 gift card so i could buy black ops 2 but keep getting a message saying "your account is unable to make this type of purchase on xbox. com. Please complete this transaction on you're Xbox." Even though i am using my Xbox

    Let's say I got a $20 gift card from something this Christmas. And I would buy
    Just Cause 3. Will I be able to pay $20 with the gift card and the remainder with the credit card on my account?

    Got Deluxe Version of BF Hardline for $20

    So the wife got me a $25 gift card for Gamestop for my birthday, I had $20 already in my MS wallet. Between the gift card, which I spent on money for MS Wallet, the money that was already there, and EA Access discount, the game cost me $20 out of pocket
    for the deluxe version.

    It sounds like your account may be a child account, is this correct? If so, that error message is by design. You can try making the purchase on an Xbox 360 console however you will need permission from the admin account associated with yours. That isn't
    a guarantee that you will be able to make the purchase, however.
