Speculation: Black Ops 3

I hope Treyarch makes the Call of Duty this year, and I hope it's a sequel to Black Ops 2. Black Ops 2 was fantastic, and Treyarch are the only ones who know how to make a decent CoD game now.

Black ops 2?

They will be, or as speculation says, they will. Supposedly an employee had on his recent played something like 'COD Iron Wolfe' which links to the era of Black Ops implying it is the direct sequel to the story.

 

Should I get Modern Warfare 3 or Black Ops 2?

No matter how much I hate Black Ops 2 and Modern Warfare 3...

You should pick Black Ops 2.

I really think that Black Ops 2 is superior in every way to Modern Warfare 3.

 

Yes, the gaming world is in serious need of another call of duty.

 

I did enjoy the first Black Ops but never got around to playing the sequel. I'm so burnt out on the CoD franchise it's ridiculous. I picked up Advanced Warfare after constant nagging from my coworkers and it was fun for about a week or so, but then the fatigue
set back in and haven't played it since. I'll probably skip the next couple Call of Duty games, Black Ops 3 or other.

 

I heard they're going for another WAW Cod, there are allot of gamers that want WW2 back. Particularly after AW.

 

OP will be glad to know that it's Treyarch's turn to the bat this year. Whether it's Black Ops 3 or something else, we won't know until May.

I'll skip this one. I've played a good amount of Call of Duty to last me for a few years and I want new experiences.

 

Recently bought CoD 2, 3 & 4.

Looking out for a discount on Classic CoD as I already have it for PC.

Up to CoD 4, the franchise was top notch. I'm not sure if its gone down hill, but I just don't like futuristic shooters so never bothered with the rest.

Still have BlOps 2 redeem code.

 

You guys know Treyarch is always open to ideas on how to make the next call of duty one of a kind for players.

Not really sure what happened with AW, lol. Don't get me wrong I like it, but instead of coming out with a new one this year I think they should really sit and think about things. Havoc literally just dropped and not without it's fair share of problems.....

 

For me Black Ops 1 was by far my favorite COD game. I loved the multiplayer, Jungle was my favorite! Didn't care for MW3, or even Black Ops 2... I want another game just like the first Black Ops!

 

I've loved the Black Ops games as well as zombies so I'm excited to see what Treyarch has in store. AW is alright. The campaign was excellent and the MP is ok but I can't play CoD for hours anymore. What's wrong with Havoc? I wish I could get the standalone
zombies for like 5 bucks. I barely play the MP anymore.

 

I'm bored with AW, the Double mario jump ruins it imo. Besides, Treyarch make quality games and have the MP nailed. Unlike the other cods you don't suffer from having a better connection against the 1 and 2 bar players, there are less host rage quits against
split screeners and general lag creators.

 

I hope so too. Only because of the zombies though. Advanced Warfare zombies is just horrible, but I guess we'll have to settle with it.

 

I've been finding myself playing older Call of Duty games as of late. Always fun to go back and revisit some of the better COD games.

Anyways, I heard sometime ago (rumor) that they were going back to WWII for their next game, which I'm okay with.
