    Spawner problem


    I play minecraft on Xbox one. before title update 46 someone found a zombie spawner in my world. I turned the zombie spawner into a zombie mob grinder. Title update 46 came out after title update 46 came out and now the instead of the zombie mob grinder
    it changed into a spider spawner. Is there any way to change this back? Thank you.

    SPAWN SWAPING!

    I know the spawn swapping was implemented because people were complaining about getting locked in their spawn and spawn killed but now, yes they might not be getting locked in their spawn, because of the fact that one teammate can flip the spawn the same
    spawn killing problem/complaint has come up.

    Monster Spawner

    The spawners are random. You never know what spawner spawns what Mob. All you can do is be in the same room as the spawner and see what it is spawning...

    Last update did not fix Nether fortress problems

    You would need a blaze spawner to spawn blazes (akin to a Cave Spider). It is the spawner that makes blazes spawn, not the nether fortress. It just so happens that blaze spawners are only located in nether fortresses.



    This is very different from Mooshrooms, which spawn based on the nature of the land--not from a spawner device.

    So what do you do?

    Currently, there's no real need to keep monster spawners active. It wont be until version 1.8 that you'll be able to farm off of spawners.

    Capturing Creatures.

    mabye you can put a spawner hidden above the glass cages and have each spawner drop a different creature in each cage.

    if thats even possible yet...
