    Hello, I hooked up my Series X with a gaming monitor that have no built-in speaker as I figured I can get sounds through my headphones but for some reason, I cannot hear anything from my headphones. does the sounds needs to come out from the TV for the controller to be able to output sounds to the headphones ?

    Hello, the headphones has both USB and jack port, I used to jack with my controller, no adapter is needed.

    Yes I am, and I'm using Hyper X Cloud 2 on the controller , but still no sounds coming. though the monitor have no built-in speakers as I said
