    Sound turning off after June update.


    Strange problem. After the June update whenever i change my tv picture setting the sound goes off. I have to then toggle through the input ports on my home theatre until im back at hdmi1. An example would be if i have been watching tv in true cinema mode
    and then change it to game mode for playing forza the sound turns off. It also switches off the sound on the wireless head set. Tv is Panasonic txl42et5b, home cinema is Panasonic btt370. Connection is through hdmi. Could someone fix it please. It was fine
    before the June update.

    No sound from cable box after June update

    Hi,

    since the June update I don't have sound from the cable box after turning xbox and all devices on.

    i have picture, but no sound.

    however, when I manually switch cable box off and on again, sound is there.

    anybody else?

    Turning off instant on fixes the problem for me. I'm going to try turning off the "turn off after inactivity" setting.

    Also, the issue with sound cutting in and out for me was solved by turning off Dts surround setting. I was getting tons of issues with surround sound on. 7.1 uncompressed completely remedied that.

    If I remember correctly there should be an option to adjust what each device does when the console is prompted to do something else. This should solve your problem.

    No sound from cable box after June update

    I've also had this issue but even before the June update. I get video but no sound when watching TV through the Xbox One with the cable box connected. Only way I could fix it was to turn off and turn back on the cable box.

    What is the beta thing?

    I too am having this issue. After the Feb 2014 update my sound bar no longer turns on or off.

    Xbox One X Latest Update Causing Sound Distortion/Compression Problems

    I did both of the aforementioned "things to try". Both do not work. I did not receive and errors when I updated and it updated silently.

    The sound distortion happens when I turn the Xbox off, and then turn it back on. To remedy, I do a hard reset and the sound is fine. After the Xbox is turned off again, and back on, the sound distortion happens again.

    Cycle for Example:

    Power On -> Sound is Fine -> Power Off -> Power On -> Sound Distortion -> Hard Reset -> Power On -> Sound is Fine -> Power Off -> Power On -> Sound Distortion -> Hard Reset -> Power On -> Sound is Fine -> Power Off -> Power On -> Sound Distortion and so
    on and so on...

    Just Dance 2015 - laggy after recent August update

    Got same problem after august update. And i have "ultra solve": turn off your internet connection and launch game. Sounds crazy but works for me.
