Sound not working

Since the August update my Xbox series X has developed a really annoying bug that I cannot seem to fix.

Will be playing a game (for example, my child playing roblox at the minute). Want to stop playing that and go into another game. When we exit the game and go into another game there is no sound at all (just tried with Tinykins).

Then we go back into the previous game (Today roblox) and the sound is working fine.

Hard reset the console, no sound on menu or anything. Go back into roblox and the sound is working fine. Try any other games and there's no sound.

Audio was absolutely fine before the August update. I've reset the console, changed hdmi cables and it still does it.

Has this happened to anyone else at all?

So it's still happening. Downloaded the lego star wars game to play with my son. He was playing bugsnax first and we stopped playing that and went into the lego game. Sound stopped. Went to the xbox home page, sound was working. Went back into bugsnax, sound was working. Exited bugsnax, and went into lego game, no sound. Went back to the xbox home page, sound was working.

Powered off the console, turned back on. sound on the home page. went into lego game no sound. Plugged headphones into my controller and the sound was playing. Unplugged headphones and went to xbox home page. Sound was working on there. Went into roblox and no sound. Went back to home page and sound was working, went back into bugsnax and the sound was working.

This surely can't be a hardware issue unless something in the August update broke something. I understand the November update has been released but it hasn't sorted it. I have seen other people with this issue as well that started as soon as the August update was released. If it was a hardware issue I would imagine that there would be no sound on any of the games I played. It wouldn't be fine on one game, the home page and not work on another game unless you put headphones into the controller.

This is seriously annoying and is causing me to not be able to play games with my kids. I spent a lot of money on the xbox and gamepass and expect things to work or (no offence Georges) be able to get someone who works for xbox to actually look into the problem rather than an independant advisor

Hello again, I find it really strange because your case is the first one I caught with this feature, I have 3 consoles, an S an X and a Series X and none presents this problem.
