Sound issues / repeating car collision sounds during career races

I got Forza 5 with xbox one about a month ago,i also got the xbox one stereo headset adaptor so i can play games late at night without waking up others in the house.

Just last week i was playing career races and when i had contact with another AI car the collision noise just kept repeating till the end of the race. Any other collisions would be added on top of the earlier repeating collision noises. By the end of the
race it sounds like an army of panel beaters working on your car,very annoying-UNPLAYABLE really.

I have tried it with the headset adaptor unplugged so sound is just through tv-SAME THING HAPPENS. My xbox one audio settings are for stereo uncompressed. I try different cars different races even happens in top gear bowling pin challenge - you can hear
your car enging sounds but you have repeating bowling pin knock down sound throughout the challenge. It seems to be a game bug,any one else getting this problem?

Its so bad i only jump on forza5 now to see if a game update/patch is out to fix problem. I havent deleted and reloaded forza 5 yet,might see if that works? I was thinking of buying a wireless wheel (allready have the microsoft one for my 360),definintely
not buying if the sound issue is not fixed,very dissapointing

If a hard reboot doesn't fix it try uninstalling and reinstalling.

Try doing a hard reset of your console and see if that fixes it. Also, if that does not work, then try uninstalling and re installing the game and see if that fixes it.

 

I've had this problem, it was solved by doing a reset of the one. Hold the x logo on the one for about 10 seconds. Then unplug the power leave for about 30 seconds, then plug it back in, power it back up.
