    Sound issue on ingame,apps,dashboard


    I am having issues on my series X. Been going on for a few weeks but doesn’t seem to be getting better. I use a turtle beach headset, before anyone asks the headset and controller are updated. I made sure no other wireless inference is going on.

    The sound in game, apps and just moving on the dash board keeps cracking in and out. I restart my system and also hard reset. Nothing works. At first I thought it was just the Apple Music app but then I noticed it happens even outside of that app. Any help on this greatly appreciated.

    i dont know if it is normal the dashboard sounds are louder than ingame!!

    No ingame sound

    Hi there,

    please try the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:

    if that doesn't fix the issue then please double check the audio settings on the console, the output may be set to a different type that you are using. Please see this link for some steps to try to solve the issue:

    Hey Smerty, very sorry to hear about the sound issues! So you just received your console back from official repair, correct? What kind of video cables are you trying to use? Have you tried a different set of cables? How about a different TV?
