    Sound isnt working right for my headset after most recent update


    This is my first time posting. Ive tried finding a solution and came up empty so hopefully someone can help on here. My headset (Astro A50) started having a problem where i can hear game audio and chat audio just fine but for some reason whenever i try
    and open spotify or watch something on netflix the audio is completely silent. Also idk if this is important but the little noise you hear whennever you move the cursor over something is silent as well. My chat mixer is greyed out and was told i needed to
    control it on the headset but it does nothing. Is there some setting im missing where i mightve accidentally turned off or on that can control the audio from other apps? Just to repeat i can hear game and chat just fine but with other things its silent.

    Update error

    After the most recent update, 9/2/2014, my Xbox 360 is suffering video and sound problems. The graphics will cut out (blank screen), and/or freeze with a pixilated screen. The sound is now cutting out intermittently. I haven't found a remedy. The unit
    worked flawlessly before the update.

    new generation. I hope they can update soon because it sounds like a software issue with the adapter and not the headset itself.

    If headset isnt plugged in sound comes through tv, and mic is turtle beach xone And also tryed my astro a40 on there, nothing no sound, about the muted on top right next to battery has a picture of microphone when a / through it i went on my other xbox
    one and tryed both mics and they work on that xbox one?but no this one please help!
