    Sound crackle/popping noises


    So mic started to do a crackle/popping sound so i went ahead and bought a new controller and headset but the noises are still there whenever i press the homebutton i hear a crackle/pop sometimes in invitations from friends in rare occasions game audio
    is there a fix to this it started doing it a a couple of updates ago i thougth it was due to wear on my headset but thats not the case plz help!

    Are you in the preview program by any chance?

    I had this the other day after an update. When I checked, I had been in the preview program. Unenrolling fixed it. Best thing to do would be to unenrol from the program and see if the problem persists. Bare in mind that after you unenrol, you will have to
    run through the initial setup of your xbox again.

    Hey there,

    I see you have tried a couple different things including making sure you're updated correctly and the issue still persists.

    Maybe a soft factory reset would help, it will reset your consoles system, but keep all your games and apps. It will remove your profile though, so make sure you know the login details before resetting. Here's a link on how best to perform the reset, hopefully
    it will rectify your problem.
