    Sound breaking on latest version on headset


    Since the latest update 2208.220519-2200 once I use headphones connected to console wirelessly the sound is breaking up and very intermittent. I tried a hard reboot of the console but the sound still is broken. Using turtle beach stealth 700 headset.

    I’m On the Alpha skip ahead version anyone else getting this?

    Hi there,

    Have you tried a different headset?

    What you're describing sounds like there is a break in the wire of the headset cord and it only works in certain positions when the wiring can make contact where the break is.

    First thing I would check out is updating the
    Firmware for your headset,     make sure it's on the latest version. Sometimes I have to swap my headset from Xbox to PC and back for it to recognize.

    But can you describe some more details on what's happening with your headset? Is it not giving any sound, or is the sound quiet, distorted, or not working?

    I have a simmilar Issue.

    I can use the Headsets in Teams no problems, but as soon as i connect to Discort od TeamSpeak or 3cx. The sound just cuts off.

    The odd thing is that on my work DELL the headset works just fine in Teams or 3cx. On my ASUS G14 it depends on the application. Both laptops are on the same Windows version. And all drivers and updates are on the latest version.

    Sometimes it connects to the crappy quality box Wireless Headset Hands-Free AG Audio and its pretty much unusable.

    Hopefully they implement a WIndows or Headset update for this.

    The only difference that ive noticed is that on my DELL i have Windows 10 Pro and on my G14 i have the home version. At some point i will upgrade my Home version to PRO and test it out.

    I own the Arctis 5 headset. I've owned SO many different kind of headsets and they all either lack something or break. These headsets have a perfect balance of everything. They never irritate my ears, are light, comfortable, give me sound everywhere and
    sound good with my voice output!
