SOT Cursed Sails: How are you faring with those skellies?

The new Cursed Sails dlc introduced at the beginning of August was revealed to be one of the most entertaining features introduced to SOT. Which is your favorite cursed crew so far? Have you tried and new ways to defeat them?

Game deleted itself

just trying to understand , I have been playing sea of thieves (SOT) for a few months now and the new cursed sails came out so I was doing the update and it froze for a solid 20 mins so I paused it and resumed it and still frozen so I cleared que expecting
it to get rid of the update for me to then click on SOT to initiate the update again but instead it just deleted the whole game , so I’ve now have to sit through 3 hours reinstalling it while my team mates play

 

I haven’t played it yet but I can’t wait to try the new things!

 

I Hope it to make the game better than It is.

 

"Foul Grog" was my favourite crew so far. We laughed a lot while we were fighting&drunk. Our favourite way to defeat them is to hit their ship and put an exploding barrel in the lower deck.

 

Haven't had the chance to play it recently. Plan on doing so when I get a group of friends ready to go.

I played SOT for a week, then gave up on it really. Exact same game as the Beta, Alpha, Closed Alpha, etc. I'll probably in my start playing again once there is an end game.

 

I just enjoyed playing the game with friends.

It was fun to try to defeat a cursed pirate ship, but in my usual fashion I died when going one on one with a skeleton on the ship. Never did get to sink the cursed ship.

 

damn skeletoms ruin your voyage all the time hahahaah it is way better than what it uswd to be wen it came out

 

I suggest you to give it another chance. Now the game has a lot of stuff and activities. The end game isn't so important imho...the game is funny and the weely event system provides new contents to envolve players regularly.

 

I haven't tried yet but from watching some friends stream it looks really tough. I just wish some deeper story is added soon.

 

It's the game to play with the right crew, and is one of those games where you make the story. So many hrs and still there are things to explore

BTW the bunch that caps your knees is hilarious. We all limped to victory!

 

I have performed a couple of battles but have yet to come out on top, they can be really tough. My initial expectation was that it was going to fairly easy like the quests, that view changed quickly.
