    i get the exact same message. even tried using windows 10, and also the app on a android and iphone with the same error message. tried uninstalling via powershell, autoupdate time and also removing the xbox account, signing back in on my pv, the readding
    it and nothing works

    Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app?? May pay to uninstall app, restart device, then reinstall app and go from there. Hope you sort it out mate

    I can solve this problem not by restarting your smartphone but by deleting data in settings, go to settings → storage → app and look for the xboxny application
