Sorry something went wrong, give it another try or go to xbox.com

Everytime that I try to sign into my xbox all with my account it says something went wrong, give it another try or go to xbox.com. I need my xbox app on the daily pretty much and I need this fixed asap.

I can’t sign into my Xbox app (IOS), when I input my account and details it goes onto a loading screen the a message saying “Sorry something went wrong. Give it another try, or try using Xbox.com”.

I’ve tryed redownloading the app multiple times, I’m able to sign in on xbox.com but it keeps giving me the same message. PLEASE HELP.

Thanks for reaching out! I'm sorry to hear about the issue with signing in.

I recommend to try taking a look at this troubleshooting article:
Sign-in problems
with in-game accounts on Windows 10.

If the problem persists, try troubleshooting the Xbox App.

Perform the steps mentioned below and see if it helps.

• Press
  Windows key + X.
  
• Then click
  Command Prompt(Admin)
  
• Now type the following command and hit enter
  

Get-AppxPackage
*windowsstore* | Remove-AppxPackage

Get-AppxPackage
*xboxapp* | Remove-AppxPackage

After a restart (signing out and back in didn't work for me) I entered the following command
(again in a powershell in admin):

Get-AppxPackage
-AllUsers| Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode
-Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}

This will install any missing built-in apps you may have uninstalled like the Xbox App.

I have no way to do that. I only use the app on my phone and dont have access to a computer therefore cannot.

Do you use iOS or do you use Android? Have you already re-installed the app from your mobile device and fully restarted your mobile device?

Have you tried signing in to Xbox.com on your mobile device like the error message mentioned?

I'm on android and I have tried all of those things and none of them work.

Can you go to
account.microsoft.com and log in with your account? Also you may want to delete your history on your phone. Try shutting your phone down completely for few minutes then turn back on and try to sign in.
