    Sony XBR-65X900E and Klipsch RSB-6 with Xbox One X


    Im not sure what I am doing wrong. When I switch between say Netflix and my Apps or the settings on the Xbox One X, the sound bar turns off automatically. I have the Bravia sync turned off, the HDMI CEC on the soundbar is off.. but for some reason, the sound
    bar will turn off when i switch between apps. I thought maybe it was because it was connected to the HDMI/ARC input, so I switched the input it was connected to, but it continued to happen. I played around with my PS4, Cable Box and Fire TV but it only happens
    on the Xbox One X. Is there an option somewhere to tell the Xbox dont send out a signal to turn on/off. I thought I had all of those set to off... but I am obviously missing something.

    just checked this guide out. Totally fixed my xbox one x not seeing hdr10 on my sony xbr 65x900e tv. See instructions below.

    Home/settings/external inputs/ hdmi signal format/enhance 4k hdmi signal/.

    Home/settings/picture display/picture adjustments/advanced settings/video options/hdr mode/hdr10/hdmi video range/full/color space bt.2020/.

    Xbox One X not recognizing Klipsch RSB-11 soundbar as a Dolby enabled receiver

    I'm having an issue with setting up my Xbox One X to transmit a surround signal to my Klipsch RSB-11 soundbar. When I go into the audio settings on my Xbox and choose bitstream out, I get the following error message....

    Check your audio receiver

    There was a problem using this setting. Make sure your audio receiver supports it. Also, make sure to choose at least one audio setting. Both can't be off.

    The Klipsch RSB-11 has the passthrough 4k ability. It also supports Dolby. It has 3 HDMI inputs and one HDMI output.

    I have contacted support about this issue, and of course, they gave me the standard response that it isn't on their end.

    Has anyone else had this issue and came up with a solution?

    control your soundbar with IR    ? The Xbox One X has a built-in IR emitter, so it could possibly be toggling the soundbar power.

    My Set Up

    Nice my consist of Triton ax360 headphones, 40" Sony Bravia XBR 4 TV, Yamaha Sound bar and sub for TV watching. Onkyo 140 watt by 7 channel receiver with I Pod dock and Klipsch and Polk floor standing speakers and center channel for forcing my neighbors
    to listen to my music (i have to listen to their children) and an Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 (blue ray player basically).

    Amazon prime HDCP issues error 7281

    I have a Sony XBR and I've encountered the same error with Prime, but only on my Xbox One X and like ChrisWoodcroft stated, once I disable the 4K display setting and switch my Xbox video over to 1080P, it appears to mitigate my chances running into this
    error. My PS4 and first generation Xbox One run Prime Video on my Sony XBR perfectly fine.

    Oddly though, I only encounter this error with Prime Video; Netflix and all other apps on my Xbox One X work just fine. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Prime Video, but to no avail in circumventing this HDCP error.

    I'm hoping the growing prevalence of this HDCP error is being noticed by Microsoft as it seems to be an Xbox-specific problem right now and I imagine a future update can easily remedy this.
