    I am going to buy the Xbox One X and I also have to buy a new TV. But can anyone tell me the TV hardware specifications? I samt to have full advantages of the Xbox one X, and I get different ansvars everytime I ask at the store.

    I dont Care which tv brand we Arne talking about.

    I'm having EXACTLY the same issue that you're seeing here, and have tried the same CC settings within the Xbox as you have, to no avail.

    My TV/Display is a Vizio 4K P-Series, so it's good to know that it's not affecting just the Vizio.

    Have you had any success with troubleshooting the issue?

    now when I try to turn off closed captioning in ease of access settings...closed caption shows as 5 " tall characters with black background.

    all I can do is set cc display to 50% size and transparent.

    if I go back to cc off large characters show up again.

    I did not have this problem with x box one...just the one S with same Happauge Tuner.

    Xbox says its the tuner and Happauge says it is the XBOX! GRRR!!!!

    No Help from either company.
