Sony DH800: Sony STRDN1080 Missing from Power Options

I figured out how to get around the fact my exact receiver wasn't listed. I know that manufacturers often use similar remote codes from multiple models. I went into the TV & One Guide/Device Control. For Audio Receiver setup I selected my Brand (mine
being Sony) and hit Next. Then I selected "Guide Me". This will allow you to keep trying codes from your manufacturer until you get one that works. (This is indicated by the volume on the receiver changing). My code was R2172 if anyone needs it for the
same model. But it did work and now my receiver, SAT box and TV all power up and off with the Xbox.

I am having the same issue with he Sony Str-DH800. In setup it recognizes the model # but doesn't do anything after that as far as tests to see if the signal is working.

A dedicated headset for Xbox is definitely sure to work best. That being said, I've had success with the adapter using regular headsets as well. Depending where you buy it from, you could always try the adapter out and return it if it doesn't work.

I have the same issue as well. I have the Sony Bravia X900E 65 inch and it's doing the same exact thing. When i turn HDR off the picture actually looks better.

Yet ms has better relations with partners then sony

Hate to burst your bubble but you ain't been watching the industry

Activision buy out isnt thru yet

And sony has a multi year exclusivity with Activision and ms already committed to following the existing contract

Leaving a feature out isn't new and sony has it in their contracts

That cross play MUST be optional

Nintendo and ms both had cross play when players demanded it

Then sony refused it citing security concerns then the sony hack happened

After enough sony players complained sony cited publicly that it would only be allowed as an optional

No dev would want to cross sony despite Sony's cma filing with the majority of gamers ms even cites not wanting to lose the sony revenue

Even ms must.pander to sony Minecraft sony wanting more cod exclusivity

You don't believe sony the number 2 game company in the world doesnt have power ?with a base of 150m players (There is a bigger one from China but mostly pc and.mobile games but they got the revenue to prove it)

If you think cross play is bad ask sony or the biggest companies in the world

Crossplay actually make money sony all the gaming companies in the world have cross play

Sony is betting big on pc titles via steam and cloud

I use my switch pro and I play cross play games on it via phone since I don't want to lug a 15 pound switch around with a 5 pound power bank for backup or even a 45 watt plug
