Hello Microsoft,

My minor son, [mod removed], had an old Xbox Live membership that he doesn't use anymore. You just withdrew $25/3-month membership from my credit card without my approval. I just cancelled his subscription online and want an immediate refund to my bank
account/credit card for that $24.99. My email is [mod removed] or cell: [mod removed].

If you cancelled the subscription then you should get a refund back to the payment option that was charged.

Like with any refund to a credit card it could take a couple of days for it to process through everywhere and be put back into your bank account.

No refund through a credit/debit card is immediately done.

Make sure the recurring billing is turned off. Sign in to
Services & subscriptions with your Microsoft account to manage and turn off recurring billing.
You can request a refund using the refund form

and go through the purchase process it will give you an option to use the account currency to purchase the gold subscription it will then give you a new 25 digit code to enter in on your sons account and give him access to the gold subscription.

Unfortunately, you can't transfer Gold memberships like that.

On the Xbox One the "Home Console" can share the Gold membership to other accounts on that very console, but the Xbox 360 console can't do that.

You need to either buy a separate Gold membership for your son via Prepaid Gold cards, or subscribe to the Gold membership with his account.

If your oldest son doesn't need the account with annual subscription , you can turn off the Auto renewal.
