Sons Microsoft/Xbox accounts blocked

So I made my son a microsoft email so that he could make his own account on xbox instead of using my gamertag. Well on Friday I signed him out of xbox but we can't remember what his password was(I helped him make his account) so we got locked out. I then tried to contact microsoft where I was advised to call xbox. I called xbox and they told me to fill out a form online(one I already filled out 4 times and was denied) I put his name, date of birth, gamertag, email, street address, and xbox device ID and was still told it was insufficient. His microsoft account for xbox is even linked to mine on microsoft family and still when I speak to these representatives I am told there is nothing they can do for me and that the owner of the account has to do it but yet they can't speak to my son since he's a minor. We has spent money on his fortnite account just for us to be told make a new one? We are clearly who we say we are. Can I sue for this? It seems like I am not the only person having a hard time recovering their accounts!!!!!!!! Should I email the CEO? VP?? What can I do to get his account back.

This is not a linked account, it's a family member account, but this doesn't work to recover accounts, in this cases the recovery form needs to be filled correctly, you can follow the suggestions here

On Microsoft family I have my son's account as a family member. In order for him to play games or buy things on fortnite he has to ask permission to do so. But yet speaking with xbox supporter they kept telling me there was nothing I could do except fill out a recovery form.

Could you tell me how the accounts are linked? Since if the accounts are linked you then would not need to fill the recovery form as you would be able to request the verification code

create a new outlook account just for contacting Microsoft/Xbox Support

this is just for them to be able to contact you, not a replacement for your sons account.

you need a fresh account as a security measure so that whoever has taken control of the account cant block your attempts to recover it.

Simple OJ

No being blocked does not mean you will be banned. It only means your sons friend will not be able to talk, message or see your sons account on his xbox live account. So you do not need to worry about your son being banned.
