Sonic Mania and Aladdin+Lion King not available on Xbox Games Store (India) :(

Hello everyone,

Xbox gamer in India here. So basically, Sonic Mania and Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and The Lion King are not available for digital purchase/download on the Xbox Games Store (India). Why is that? They are available in all the other Xbox regions I checked. And pretty much every other game I can think of is available to Xbox gamers in India. So whats the deal with these 2 games?

It’s really unfortunate, as these are 2 games I really want to get for my Xbox One…

Is there any way to get the Xbox Game Store people to look into this? And make it available? I tried contacting them through their support channels, and even contacted the game developer/publishers too, but no luck. Any advice?

Yes I’m aware of that, thanks. But I’d much rather play them on my Xbox.

No, that can’t be right. As I actually did get a reply from Disney’s support team, and they told me that I had to contact Xbox customer support for this, since they (Disney) were not responsible for the Xbox store.

We understand the excitement; However, we don't have any official dates for now, but as soon as there will be actions made on the subject it will be announced through our official websites and social media platforms to the public. Also keep in mind that it's his question can only be answered by the owner of the game, because such requests are controlled by the developer of the game and not the platform in which the game is played on. if you have a cheapo laptop or pc then you can currently get sonic mania to keep forever on the epic store if that works in your region.

Sweet. Not a huge fan of The Lion King game but Aladdin was great.
