son cant join me playing destiny

can anyone help, i'm trying to help my son level up in destiny but it won't allow him to join me because it is saying he needs xbox gold subscription which he has until 23rd april. both consoles have a good network connection and have an open nat type.

please can some help

Friends down!!

right when the moon event opens in destiny beta. cant join friends cant party up. event is now over, thanks alot microsoft.

Cannot play call of duty aw on 2 consoles on same network

Cool but what I mean is that if me and my wife play on this console and my son try's to join the host from another xbox 1 then either we cant find a game or it crashes upon map loading. But playing independently. Is fine

Sorry to hear it. Please try restarting his console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds until it shuts down to see if that helps.

If that doesn't work then head over to account.microsoft.com and click on services and subscriptions to see if his subscriptions is still active. If it is not then you'll need to contact phone support to get this sorted out. You can click this link to

I have 3 pc's in my house, mine, my wifes, and my sons. We all got the SoD2 Ultimate edition. I can join my sons game and so can my wife, my son and wife can join my game, my son can join my wifes game but i cannot... wtf? we are all on the same connection
and play tons of other games online together so this one has me confused as to why i cant join her game but she can join mine. Ive already tried all the suggestions they have on the support site and none of those has worked so i am at a loss

Same thing hapend to me but, I could join now do this:

i join destiny and the game sings me out, but the destiny main title still on,

i press A to start the game and show me a message to conect to xbox live, there i sing to xbox live and that way i could play, i hope this work whit u guys as well. Cheers
