    Sometimes my laptop is very slow for seemingly no reason


    Normally my laptop runs great. No issues at all, but there are times when I restart my laptop and it will run extremely slow, I use it primarily for video games, so I will be playing a agame, and then leave and shutdown my laptop, on occasion when I turn my laptop back on my games fps drops like crazy and I can't figure out why, other times I'll turn it on and it functions completely fine, does this happen to anyone else? And how could I diagnose and fix the issue

    I can recommend you some possible solutions to see if your PC performance improves:

    1. Open the task manager and go to the startup tab, once there, click “disable” on each app listed there
    After that, restart the PC and see if the problem is solved.

    Doing a clean boot fixed the issue, I'll have to look through my background apps to see which one was causing the issue, thank you for the help!

    I'm using windows 11, this has been happening for a about a year now, and since it has been going on so long I unfortunately don't know if an installed or updated program is at fault, and to fix the issue I just leave the laptop alone for a day, usually when I come back after not using it and reset it again it goes back to normal
