Hello. I recently bought an Xbox Live card, and when redeeming it, it recognizes it as a 12 month subscription, but says "Something Went Wrong" when redeeming. Error code: 0x801650C8

Hi chem, check your account and see if the transaction went through. Even though that error message pops it still manages to go through in some cases. If it didn't go through I would call Microsoft phone support so they can look into the problem more thoroughly.

Solution is to change your location to UK or USA depending on where you live. You should try both, worked for me.

Hi, just bought xbox live 12 tried month membership, when i type in code it says "something went wrong" gives me a code for xbox help which also gets me no where. Talked to support and they said they were unsure of the problem and that they could not even
find my gamer tag on their end. Very frustrating.
