I just saw that there is a 12 month promotion for xbox live gold (12 month) for $35.99.

When trying to get this promo the xbox returns something went wrong error.

I tried to contact online support and their answer was to post here.

Hopefully someone can help me with my question.

Issues with XBox Live Gold Promotion--BF3

Hi there, I want to purchase the $35.99 Battlefield 3 promotion for 12 months of XBox Live Gold membership via the Xbox Live Dashboard, but when I choose "Go Gold Now", I get the error: "status code 8007000B" and it kicks me back to the dashboard. My xbox
is directly wired to my modem, so I don't think that's the issue. Can you help me?

Something went wrong when redeeming live gold code

Bought 1 year gold live with Xbox One, titanfall edition. Titanfall activated without any problems, but can't activate Gold Live already for 5 days. Always - something went wrong

i went to through the xbox live dash button with the promotion on it. i clicked on that and then upgraded to xbox live gold.

Are you able to sign in on Microsoft and Xbox website with your account? Does this error happens only on Xbox app and Microsoft store? If so, please try the steps below:

- Go to Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features > Microsoft Store > Advanced Options > Reset.

- Go to Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features > Xbox App > Advanced Options > Reset.

- Go to Start > Settings > Gaming > Xbox Networking > Fix it.

- Click on Start > Credential Manager > Windows Credentials. Search for Xbl|DeviceKey, click on it and then Remove.

- Delete Accounts and Cache folders at:

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.XboxIdentityProvider_8wekyb3d8bbwe\AC\TokenBroker

- Also delete Microsoft Store local cache files at:

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.WindowsStore_8wekyb3d8bbwe

Restart you computer. Change your account password on Microsoft or Xbox website and try to sign in to the desktop apps again.
