This error message has been popping up for the last little while. In fact, it started the day I agreed to a new MS update for my console. For a couple months, games would eventually start after messing with it for 30 min but now I get nothing at all. Went
through all "How to Fix" options listed on the MS site to no avail (NTFS usb drive options, bind/eject and power button option, offline update etc etc and really hoping someone out there can point me in the right direction. Have literally spent thousands upon
thousands of $$ on this and cannot justify walking away.

Any response would be much appreciated, thank you in advance.

PS the messed up thing is, I did buy an extended warranty for this console but lost the receipt and they refuse to help me. It's gotta be listed on their systems somewhere right?

I did this, and It didnt work, it gave me another error message and said something went wrong. The error code is E102 00000C10 8007045D

Before you attempted the offline update (OSU), did you disconnect the wired ethernet cable from the console? Or are you using wireless to connect to your network hardware?

Did the OSU successfully complete or fail?

"If the error still comes up after you re-installed the system from an USB drive" you have a hardware issue and console needs repairing or replacing.

If the error still comes up after you re-installed the system from an USB drive, this means that the hard drive in your console has corrupted sectors where the console's operating system is stored.

Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do to fix it (as you already exhausted the self repair options with the USB repair and following the "How to fix" options).

Please check on
https://devicesupport.microsoft.com if your console is still in the extended warranty you bought.

Also check if this is the Microsoft extended warranty. Unless you bought this physically at a Microsoft Store, you won't have a receipt for that, as the warranty is then booked on your account that you used to purchase the extended warranty.

If the physical store that you bought the console from offered their own extended warranty (for example you got the console from GameStop and they sold you a GameStop extended warranty), you will have to contact them for a warranty repair/replacement.
