Something went wrong! (No error code provided)

TL;DR/SYNOPSIS- No form of download works through any account connected to my Xbox One. This includes gamertag changes, claiming pre-paid codes, buying music/movies, downloading free content and purchasing gold on both the online computer
store and Xbox One store. The same error code appears from both the Xbox One console and online: Screenshot

INFORMATION:

(Read synopsis first) I've been through Microsoft service on several occasions over the past month to try and resolve this issue. They have taken me through a number of troubleshooting processes that fail to work, and tell me no purchasing restrictions are
currently on my account. These processes included adjusting information on my account (billing address, adding/re-adding card information etc.) them "refreshing my account", one attempted to get me to set my console back to factory settings (which I kinda
refused to do as I didn't want to lose game downloads/saved data). After 2 weeks of these processes and them "trying everything they can", I was put through to a higher authority who finally concluded that it was failing to make purchases as I had merely
a debit card connected to my account (which I personally don't see the problem with as I wasn't attempting to buy a gold subscription at the time. I was trying to change me gamertag.) He then advised me to either change to a credit card or use prepaid cards.
I decided to go with the prepaid Microsoft points and Gold option. However, upon attempting to redeem the points and Gold I purchased, the same message pops up.

I then went back to Microsoft service and told them my issue. First, they checked if the codes were active (and both of them were). They read through a number of my chat logs, and after an hour (or more) of more trouble shooting (which included me finally
changing my active payment option over to credit), they passed this onto a higher support, and told me to wait another 24 hours.

Please note:



Downloads don't work on ANY ACCOUNT connected to my Xbox through both the online store and console store, which leads me to believe it's actually a problem with the console. Which is really weird. I've used a number of different cards now also, both
a mixture of debt and credit.

Thoughts? Have any of you experienced this?

FallOut 3 Code not working

No it just said something went wrong when i typed the code there was no error code...

Gears of war collection codes were included with gears of war 4 not working.

when I enter the codes provided it gives me "something went wrong" and ask me to go to xbox.com/errorhelp with a error code to investigate, however when I enter the error code it gives me "Sorry! No Support articles were found" any one know why?
