Kindly also try resetting the gaming services. Select Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features. Find the App named "Gaming Services" then select the Advanced options link under the name of the app (some apps don't have this option). On the page that opens, select Reset.

After that press WIN+R (Windows logo key + R) , Enter "services.msc", find "Game Services", stop the service and then start it back again.

You can also check if you can install your games using MS store app. Open the Microsoft Store, then click on the profile picture in the top right corner. A pop-up box will appear allowing you to sign out then once signed out, kindly sign in again using the account that have your games then try installing them from there.

yes i migrated to windows 11 now.

Apparently it is a known issue and looks like it is resolved. So the issue was a Xbox app update. I should not just update right away, that was my mistake and stopped me from being able to game pass until they resolved the issue with the update

I just did the instructions you provided but it still did not work.

I also tried installing windows 11, and now all games show a sad face and I can't play any of the game pass games.

What can I do to resolve this issue?

I have the latest Windows 10 installed and also have the latest xbox app and microsoft store updated. I also tried using this link:

Still cannot play any game on game pass. I am able to play It Takes Two because it uses EA app though.

1 - Type cmd (Command Prompt) in the search bar of the Start menu and then click Run as administrator.

2 - Enter chkdsk /f/x/r/v

The system will ask you if you want to run CHKDSK after restarting the system, press S on your keyboard and then type "Exit" and restart the computer, it will scan in DOS mode.
