    Something is up with Controllers and the OG Xbox One.


    So I got Game Pass this month and a couple of Series X controllers. I tried to play No Man's Sky with the Series X controller but I keep getting disconnection errors. I thought maybe there's an issue....I'll come back to it later.

    Went on the play Gears 5 with the same controller, rock solid. Got through the whole campaign with zero problems.

    Now last night, I decided to try Control and back to the disconnect issue. So I switched to the OG controller....same problem. Controller disconnects every few seconds.

    I've filed my report on both. I did the NMS report a few weeks ago and everything is still the same. Just flied the one for Control.

    any thoughts here? I don't have a long enough cord to try wired.

    Is it considered a OG gamertag?

    Geez, I had to look this one up!

    OG stands for original gamertag. They are gamertags such as Dog, Water, Prologue, and Crime.
    They are any common WORD, not words. 2 words are semi OGs. Naming phobias that no one knows about is not OG, unless its something as common as claustriphobia.

    And no it is NOT OG as no one knows what it means! You would have to tell them or they would have to look it up. It is not a normally used word. You ansered your question yourself!

    I still have some OG Xbox games, so IMO it should be an Xbox, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. Also it should support the Duke controller and the OG Xbox mic, and also it should be inverse compatible. It should play PS games as well all the way from the PS1.

    It's a new technology. Why should it spend the development team's time to do something a device already does that they sell?

    I love the OG Xbox. It was like that big ol' American Muscle car. Big, Powerful, and Durable. So was "The Duke" controller. 'Merica! Joking aside... It would be awesome to have the OG Xbox games re-mastered or as digital downloads. I still have an
    OG Xbox hooked up. The thing is a classic.

    Original Xbox Games should be backwards compatible as well

    That would be really cool... To have OG Xbox games on Xbox One with full Xbox Live support again.

    But i found the backwards capability experience on Xbox 360 to be frustrating at times. As the Xbox controller was different than the Xbox 360 controller. I will just play my OG Xbox games on my OG Xbox.

    Dont forget Bruce Lee Quest of the Dragon! Or Freedom Fighters, Dead or Alive 3 and so on

    Something that is personal to them. But if it was me I would love an Xbox One X, be a welcme upgrade to my og Xbox One. Or Some halo merchandise.
