Xbox Support are saying it's due to a Purchase and Content Usage issue that's ongoing.

So, you know the email and password and the system is telling you it is wrong? Or, you forgot the email/password all together?

You can try the forgot password option and enter various emails you think you might have used. Then, check those emails and voila.
