As the title mentioned, someone is logged into my account I presume on xbox gamebar (they are playing PC games) I'm not sure how they are logged in.
I have tried the following steps to remove my account from their computer. Can you not remotely log someone out of gamebar? I dont believe its malicious, but for obvious reasons I dont want them logged in.

    - Changed password.
    - Removed the laptop/pc remotely from both xbox and the Microsoft store, but seems to keep coming back. This also doesn't log them out.
    - Enabled authentication.

    Hello

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

I understand the urgency of fixing this issue that you are facing now wherein there is an unknown account in your Game bar. Let’s work together in finding the best resolution to this issue.

For me to better understand the issue, I’d like to ask a few questions:

    • When was the issue started?
    • How many Microsoft Account do you have?
    • What are the changes made to the account that might caused the issue?
I tried to replicate this issue using our own device here in my end. It turns out that the online indicator (green color) is you or your own account. You mentioned above that you enable the Game bar in your computer and it showed that there is an unknown account on it. Actually, it is you or it refer to your own account. Once you enable the game bar and you are using your own account. It will always show that you are online even if you are not playing games. In this case, you may try to sign out your account from your Xbox App and try to enable the Game bar, it will show there that you are offline since you signed out your account already.

    Hope you understand.

    Hey mate,

So my guess is Ive logged into Gamebar on a laptop or PC, which has not fully logged out. Or atleast thats what I'm hoping, truthfully im not sure how i'm logged in overseas. There's definitely someone using my account because it will display games that I'm not playing while im at work or sleeping. For example, World of Warcraft which I've never played before. I don't believe its malicious, they probably have no idea their logged into gamebar.

The issue started roughly 5 months ago.
I only use the one Microsoft/xbox account.
No changes to the account, outside of changing passwords.

    Appreciate you looking into this!

    Hello Lunchy

    Thank you for your reply!

Have you already changed your account password? Please proceed in changing your account password so that your account will be logged off from all the unknown device you're logged into with.

We look forward to your reply.

No. There's no way to remove your account remotely. If you gameshare with someone else, you would sign into their console, set it as your Home, then remove your account from the console before you leave.
