    Someone is using my address


    Once in a while i receive an invoice or order email from Microsoft.

    I am a Mac user, I don't have Xbox. i have this account for Skype which i hardly use.

    However these emails keep on popping up.

    for example earlier today i received "Your Microsoft order #4819538659 has been processed"

    The card number is not mine, i never noticed any money disappeared from my account. but it seems like someone is using my address for something.

    Please help me to find out what's going on and get rid of that annoying problem

    I realize you have concerns about the email messages that pop up in your Microsoft account, and I understand how you feel.

    Understanding your current problem, please go to our Microsoft account official website to log in to your Microsoft account that currently pops up the email. After logging in, click "Payment Options" on the left, and then check whether the payment method in the payment options is added by you. You can also select the payment method to see if it can be deleted:Microsoft account | Sign In or Create Your Account Today – Microsoft

    Then for the situation you are currently talking about, it is recommended that you reset your password in the following way to see if you will receive this type of email again after performing the above operations:Reset a forgotten Microsoft account password - Microsoft Support

    Someone else is using my email address.

    I try to login to xbox live with it and it brings me to a screen that's asking me to sign up for xbox live... It used to say that the password or username was wrong before things changed on here... It's acting like he's already dropped it, but I keep getting
    emails for him and it's irritating...

    OK I removed the personal info for you. In the futre if you accidentally make a mistake like that you can click on the little no symbol and report the post and we can take care of it.



    So he's removed the email from his WLID and you are still getting emails about Xbox? Is that what you mean?
