Someone is trying to get in my Microsoft account

Really, this process would be extremely useful, I believe for all areas.

A tip that they gave me, would be that you can change all your old email, for a new one.

But the old email will be completely deleted, so if you have that email associated with other companies, streaming subscriptions and the like, it's not a good idea.

But they don't have your password or access to account validation methods.

Unfortunately, there is no way to stop the access attempt, anyone can try to access it, but they won't be able to because they don't know the password and don't have access to the validation methods.

You have already taken all necessary actions, and your account is safe.

These are the best steps to take: -

1. Make sure you're using a strong and unique password. If you haven't changed it in a while, change it.

2. Make sure the security info on your MS account is up to date and that there's no info there that you don't recognise.

3. Enable 2 factor authentication. This is one of the strongest things you can do to protect your account, cos even if someone obtained your email address and password, they couldn't log into your account without your phone. If you're using an Xbox One/Series console or a Windows laptop/PC, they will be set as trusted devices once you've authenticated a login once, so you don't need to authenticate via your phone literally every time you use your console or PC.

4. Generate a recovery code and keep it safe. You can do that via the bottom of the Security page for your MS account. If you lose access to your sign-in info, you can use a recovery code to regain access to your account.

As for the unauthorised log-in attempts, I sometimes see the same thing happening to my account. I think these attempts usually come in 2 forms: -

1. A website you have an account on was hacked at some point, and a database of email addresses and passwords was leaked. Sometimes people will download such a database, then try and use the details to log into accounts on Amazon, PayPal, eBay, Microsoft etc., hoping to get a hit. That's why it's important to not use the same password across multiple sites. There are websites where you can check to see if your email address was included in any data breaches.

2. Someone is targeting you specifically for some reason, which would explain repeated attempts from the same IP address across multiple days.

Either way, if you have your account properly secured, they're not going to get into it. It's not nice to see people trying to access your account, but the important thing is that they can't get in.

About website, Microsoft Has breach in 2019. Milions of accounts included emails was reveladed/compromised/pwned

Yes. They don't do it.

Also i've ecountered with hackers on Xbox. They sending invites from accounts without progress or messages about girls etc. With links. I am super careful about things like this, i was reporting them but accounts are untouched.
