Someone is stalking me and trying to hit me offline with my ip address

There is a woman on xbox who has been trying to stalk me and find my IP Address to boot me offline. I am tired of trying to avoid her. I have blocked her account but she keeps having new accounts. She is doing the same thing to my friends.

I am tired of having to worry about having someone knocking my internet offline. Please get rid of this person from xbox.

Please help me - Being harassed on XBL

Someone is constantly sending me threatening messages and hitting me offline. He's sent me my own ip address to me in a message to try and scare me, I have valid proof that he's been threatening to get my account banned and I keep getting hit offline. Is there anything I can do about this if I can show someone the messages that he's sending to me? I have no problem giving an employee my information for them to see the proof themselves.

If you haven't done so already, you would need to file a complaint on her via the console in order for the enforcement team to investigate. They do not use the forums and calling out other gamers is not allowed on the forums.

 

Your best bet in this situation is to continue to block and report the accounts that are being created and used to harass you.

I know you are frustrated and upset but please dont post the persons info on here. You should certainly report the person but posting info like that on here could only make a bad situation possibly worse.

 

You should remove her name from the post, it's irrelevant to the post.

If you're concerned, contact your local law enforcement with all the information you have.

All you can really do is report and block.

 

If you are being harassed by someone using multiple accounts, you can either try to keep up and blocking these multiple accounts one by one, or you could temporarily set your online and privacy settings to "Friends Only" on
Sign in to your Microsoft account

That way the person can't send you any messages or talk to you in a party, unless that account of hers is on your friend list.

Keep in mind, that in order to "boot you offline", she needs to get hold of your current IP address. In order to do that, she has to have a direct peer-to-peer connection to you that she can monitor to find your IP address. So take care to NOT have her in
a chat party, a multiplayer lobby or outside Xbox Live having a Skype conversation or other chat or multiplayer game where she could log your IP address.

If for some reason she still got hold of your current IP, simply disconnect your modem or router from the wall outlet, and restart your modem and router. That will give you a new public IP address, and the DDoS Attack to boot you offline will go to the old
IP address.

So you can easily get online and avoid being knocked offline again with the new IP address.
