Someone I don’t know on my account

You need to get in touch with xbox immediately! If not they can do something to get you banned permanenty! This happened to me on the 6th...my case is still being reviewed after i sent screenshots showing that someone in the Netherlands accessed my account! I cant play any games or communicate with anyone and thousands of dollars spent on that account are gone until its reversed! Microsoft doesn't seem to care and i haven't seen anyone who has went through the same problem get their account back....

There's a setting on your xbox account to remove the account from every xbox it's on. Then you'll have to re-add the account, password reset, go to your recovery email, change the password to something new, and you should be fine. Make sure you enable 2fa and connect it to your phone so people need 2fa authentication to access your account. Make sure you never tell other people your credentials, you don't sign onto imposter Xbox phishing sites and you don't leave your account on other people's xbox's.

Alright I’ll figure something else out I know that it’s free for anyone to use now but I just don’t know why someone would make a account for the purpose of getting my username and I don’t know what they want from me because I know it has to be someone who has something against me but thank you for your help I appreciate it

So basically I have an account on Xbox for which I have been signed out of and I don’t know the email or password to and it was made when we first got the Xbox it’s been like 7 years now or something like that so no one in the family remembers the email or password of that account and we have spent lots of money on this Xbox account and don’t wanna loose it what do I do?

If you cant figure out what the email is then there is nothing you can do unfortunately.

Its not possible to recover an account without knowing the email. So one way or another youd need to figure out what email you used. This article has some general suggestions on ways you can try to find that out.
