    Someone has targeted my gamertag with 2000+ bot accounts and I can't stop the notifications...


    Someone has targeted my gamertag with bot profiles. I have been receiving friend requests from bot profiles for over an hour, and I checked that my follower list is 1000+ when it used to be a few hundred. How do I get this to stop? I can't play games as the notifications always come up, and I've heard that you can get banned for buying followers, which I haven't but it may look like I do. Is there any other way to fix this other than changing my privacy settings or turning off notifications?

    Bot account

    Yes, all 1-4 Letter gamertags & are out stock, these "bot" accounts are actually called "autoclaims" they target a gamertag with a RDP server & tool until they automatically claim the gamertag & resell them for upwards of $10,000. This is highly against Microsoft's Code of Conduct & are trying actively to stop these people.

    Banned for someone bot following my account.

    Yes i understand i have been banned for botted followers but what im saying I DID NOT bot the followers. People use a tool to bot follow someone’s account and the account owner pays the price for SOMEONE ELSE bot following THEIR account do you not understand how this is wrong? It is entirely out of my control i cant stop someone from spamming bots to follow my account and the enforcement team knows this. Like i could find someone to bot follow someone’s account and result in their account getting banned how is that even legal or fair? I understand there is nothing you can do to help except send the same enforcement link which doesnt do anything as my appeal was already denied but i am posting this to spread awareness to other players that may have the same issue. Microsoft need to fix this immediately it is wrong to permanently ban someone for someone else bot following their account making me lose all my games and content i have paid for and all my progress over 16+ years with 111k gamerscore.

    If the account has gamer score then that account is being used to play games which I personally can't see anyone having a bot do that. So it could be someone random messaging you or an account that is used but also has a bot attached to it.
