    Somehow created a second xbox profile for the same microsoft account


    Hey Guys,
    So i wanted to changed by primary email of my microsoft account, i did that and than i wanted to login into minecraft but instead of beginng logged in i got prompted a new gamer tag creation. I did that thinking, a nice i can get rid of the odd one which was created while migrating my mojang account. Sadly now i cannt only login to the new one which doesnt has minecraft linked it seems.

    How do i remove the second gamertag/xbox account from my microsoft acocunt and yet again use the first one?

    If i activate the old one (marbleToast9359) i get logged into the new one with a message "welcome back"

    Is there a gametag attached to your xbox profile? It may be a random generated one initiated when you created your Microsoft account. Just guessing.

    Hi Carrie. My name is Kyle and I'm an independent advisor.

    To create an Xbox profile you need a Microsoft account. When you create a new Xbox profile on a new account you are creating a Microsoft account, not an Xbox account.

    The login details for the Xbox profile are the same as the Microsoft account, so then it asks to sign in with his MS account you can use the details he entered when creating his Xbox profile.

    It sounds like you somehow created a new profile for his Microsoft Account. Normally, this shouldn't happen. It should have had you download his existing profile instead of creating a new one.

    As far as the Day One achievement, I don't think that you'll be able to transfer it.
