Somehow connected 2 Xbox accounts to the same email?

I'm trying to change my gamertag. But whenever I try to use the link to change it (or even go DIRECTLY FROM MY OWN PROFILE THAT I'M TRYING TO CHANGE) it brings me to change the gamertag of the account I made for Minecraft PE like 2 years ago that somehow
got connected to the same email. Nothing I do will let me change the gamertag of my actual Xbox Live account. How do I fix this?

Note: I literally cannot change the email associated with the second account, because whenever I try to do that it brings up my main account on the Xbox app. literally the only thing that refuses to recognize my main account is Minecraft PE and the gamertag
change function.

So I have 2 email addresses. Are you saying I need to somehow connect my newest account to the original account/email?

How do I do this ?

to change the email address connected to your xbox live account (used for loggin in and downloading the profile etc), please follow the steps on this link:

support.xbox.com/.../switch-gamertag-to-different-microsoft-account

If there are currently somehow two profiles connected to the same email address (Microsoft Account) try changing one of the accounts to another Microsoft Account (email address) that might fix the issue

I am trying to sign into minecraft using the Xbox account but I somehow have 2 accounts under the same Email and there is no option to enter just the game tag and the password. I had this problem every time I reinstalled minecraft launcher and had so sign and and before I got over the issue somehow but now I just cant find a fix for it. it basically signs me into the account that doesnt have minecraft instead of the one that does and they are both under same email but have different game tags. help please ;-;

Its simply not possible to have two xbox accounts (gamertags) under the same email.

For example, If i try to create a second xbox account (gamertag) using the same email it tells me i cant because an account already exists under that email.

The email you used for each account might be VERY similar but they cant be exactly the same.

You need to somehow figure out what email you used for the correct account you are trying to access. could be the difference between *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** vs *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** or something simple like that.
