I am sure somebody has suggested this already, but you need to go try both, if it's a demo unit in a shop or at a friends house.

Listen, I love my Xbox and my friend has a PS4, we have both played on each others console and still like our own, so it's a very personal choice.

No they are not actual Developers. I have random people on my friends list that has "Dev" or "Developer" along with another word or numbers in their Gamertag. They are likely bots. There is a big problem with tens of thousands of bots being created for
websites you can go to, to "buy followers". People go to these sites and pay money to people to buy followers, and it is these bots that they "buy" to follow them. Many bots are made just to follow people for a follower number, through these websites. It's
either that or someone just doing something strange and creating multiple accounts, maybe for game boosting etc.

I understand you need help on removing followers.

I believe there is no option to remove them all at once but removing them would only be through blocking or unfriending these followers and you can only do this one by one.

But I do not believe you can get banned for having many followers though as this is not against any guidelines from what I have researched.

If you really want to remove them, just make sure to block them one by one and I suggest you also change your privacy settings so that you can filter gamers that can follow or add you.
