    some problem of Microsoft Minesweeper in windows 8.1 update1


    after update, i found some problem and hope you team could fix it
    my pc is intel coredue and video card is ati mobility x2300
    my windows 8.1 update to update1 and language is chinese traditional
    my computer is asus a8jr
    bug/problem report
    the modern theme still disappear when using chinese as first default language but show up when setting the first default language to english us

    so the garden theme is the only chooice in chinese
    the bomb explosion of morden theme was normal
    the bomb explosion of garden theme was broken texture
    could you fix these problem for better user experience?

    This is not a problem with our game, unfortunately. This is a problem with Windows and your graphics card.

    Please try to update your graphics drivers and restart your computer.

    Hello hongdazhi,

    Please try the following steps to make certain that everything is completely up to date and that no updates got stuck somewhere:

    1. Press the Windows key

    2. Type in Windows Update

    3. Under the search bar you see on the right, choose Check for Updates

    4. In the Windows Update screen, press the Check Now button

    5. Even if it doesn't seem to find any updates, click on View Details

    6. Install any updates you see that haven't been installed- including optional ones

    7. Restart using the restart option from the shutdown menu.

    Then please try these steps:

    1. Press Windows Key + R

    2. In the box, type wsreset.exe and press Enter

    3. This will re-launch the Windows Store

    4. Hover over the right-hand side to bring up the charm bar

    5. Choose Settings

    6. Choose App Updates

    7. Choose Sync licenses

    If you find that these steps show that you are completely up to date, then please try the following in order to fix any possible corruption in the game’s files. Uninstall the game and then restart your system by selecting the “Restart” option from the shutdown
    menu. Once you’re back up and running, press the Windows Key+R and type wsreset.exe in the dialog box and press Enter. Re-open the Windows Store app and reinstall the game.

    Please let us know if these troubleshooting steps do not get you back into the game.

    Adventure Mode crash bug. Update please?

    I too am running Windows 8.1: Version 6.3, build 9600 but on a Sony VAIO. I just installed Windows 8.1 a day ago. Before that I had no problem with Minesweeper. Now Adventure Mode starts to load but then crashes. I can play the Daily challenges without
    a problem. This Minesweeper problem is only one of the problems I'm having since installing Windows 8.1.

    It's a couple weeks after the launch of Windows 8.1. The sound problems haven't been fixed. When will we have a properly working Solitaire Collection for Windows 8.1 (or Minesweeper for that matter)?
