Some guys get so tough when they hide behind a script.

I was simply playing trials on Destiny 2 with my friends, and it was good, until someone on the enemy team decided to take a different kind of action. We noticed one of our friends had left, which sucked but we thought it was his
internet. Then the same happened again to my other friend, and then again to the last one. Upset at our loss, I had the booter join the party to confront him, and says he has the power to ddos me and even sells scripts and such for other people to do the same.
I've been booted for 27 hours, however, his gamertag was [Mod Removed] and his friend pulling up my IP was[Mod Removed]. If what he says is true and regularly does this and sells it to others, I can't imagine how many times he's done this to people. He may
even still have my IP saved to do the same thing again, I'm not sure what to do. It's never happened to me before and I know nothing about ddosing, I also don't have alot of money for paid protection, what do I do?

Refrain from using other gtags in the forums

 

If you see others doing something against the terms of use or code of conduct of the live service then be sure to use the dashboard reporting tools to report them. Go to their bio and select file complaint then follow the directions provided. Be sure to
block them after you report them so they cannot contact you again.

As for the DDoS, contact your ISP and let them know. They should be able to issue you a new IP address so you don't get booted by them again.

 

Avoid calling out gamertags in the forums and avoid confronting users online and instead I would advise reporting and blocking the person from your Xbox.

If you're still being booted, contact your ISP to get a new IP address.

 

Go back to his profile and report him, so the enforcement team can look into this. Also, I understand that you are very upset with this user but in the future please keep other players gamer tags out of your forum post.
