Some guy hacked me

WELL, THAT'S KINDA LIKE ASKING FOR A NEW WINDSHIELD FROM YOUR VEHICLE MFG BECAUSE IT RECEIVED DAMAGE FROM ROCKS WHILE DRIVING TOO CLOSELY BEHIND A GRAVEL TRUCK.

Unfortunately, to ask for a refund you need to sign in to the Xbox website with the account that purchased the games - in your case, the hacked one.

A lot of people who game share have this problem when the person they are sharing games with changes their account info. Hopefully one day game sharing will not be an option.

It is very hard to tell what could be the culprit of you being hacked. Some hackers have access to emails database and they try to sign in with these emails on other big company's website. For example, if you create an account on a forum or a website that is not so secure with your Microsoft account email address and using the same password, this website's database may be compromised and the hacker would have access to your Microsoft account email/pass without hacking Microsoft's databse (since email and password are the same).

Your computer or phone might also be infected with a spyware or other malware. It is hard to say for sure. That's why I always have a very good anti malware suite installed both on my computer and mobile and I never use the same password as my main email address when creating accounts on other websites/forums. Having two factor authentication enabled on your account is also very good because even if someone has access to your email and password, he would only be able to sign in to your account if he get access to your phone or alternative email address.

About your games, you will not be able to recover them. I'm sorry but nothing can be transferred from one account to another.

Well am fine with that but is there a way to get my games back? and is it something i downloaded or something that made me get hacked
