    First, i gameshare with a friend who currently owns Game Pass Ultimate (yes the bill is paid). In my subscriptions menu it says i havent owned gold or the game pass since the year 2020. I have had no problems playing any game, online or offline until today (1/16/23). We have made sure his xbox profile is my home and vice versa. I was trying to play 2k23, i load into the city no problem. i go to que into a park game and a menu pops up requiring me to purchase xbox live. When i load into the city i visually see other online players running around. GTA also does the same thing to me as well. COD MW2 I can play any mode no problem, online multiplayer, Warzone 2.0. I can still use xbox live features as well (party, friends, messages). Does anybody else have this problem? Is there a fix? Yes have tried restarting console, resetting while keeping games and apps on console. Have not uninstalled the game yet, afraid it still wont fix and dont want to waste time. My profile is the one that owns 2k23 and Gta as well.

    I'm sorry but sharing games with people not in your physical household is a violation of TOS and can lead to account and hardware bans

    Hello Johnathan, this doesn't seem to be a problem in the game, and since you've already done a reset keeping games and apps, try restarting turning off your modem router for a few minutes and doing a cache clear on the console to reset the console's IP, and then come back to connect to the internet.

    1. Go to the Xbox press and hold the XBOX power button on the console for 10 seconds until it turns off

    2. Wait 10 seconds until it turns off

    3. Wait 1 minute with it off

    4. Turn it back on

    Xbox live gold system is kinda scam!!!

    You need Xbox Live to play online multiplayer. There are a lot of titles out there that do not require you to have live to play.

    Playing on any gaming console online will require you to purchase a subscription to have access to the online multiplayer severs. PlayStation Plus is the same cost as Xbox Live, and they require you to have a subscription to play certain games online as
    well.

    A subscription to Xbox Live Gold is required to play any online multiplayer on any game.

    You can play offline on games that have offline modes but some games are online only and they require gold membership to play.

    You will have to buy gold to play that game's online mode.

    Unless they're online games that require a subscription to play online, you shouldn't have any problem keeping games you've purchased.
