Some games not working, Some do work

So I'm trying to help my son with some Xbox One issues. A few weeks ago, some of his digital games (i.e. Rainbow 6, Forza) stopped working and get a 'can not load' message, but some still do work (i.e. Minecraft, Sea of Thieves). We've done all the troubleshooting
on the support website, including deleting/reinstalling games and factory reset with USB. Any thoughts on what to try next?

I have had this similar problem as well, for some odd reason games like (roblox and world of tanks) needed an update and it glitched out and I tried all the methods they told le to do and nothing worked and now, everytime I try to download the games back
my xbox GOES CRAZY and it starts lagging out turning everything grey and freezing my screen, idk how to fix this but it seems like nothing is working, and I have to delete the games so that my xbox will stop glitching out, they stay at 0% and then say installation
stopped.

Are the games in question, games that you purchased threw the Microsoft Store?

If the games are not Microsoft store purchases. Generally you can find a folder in each of the games file directories labeled _CommonRedist. Within that specific folder, you should find the specific DirectX file you need to install for each specific game.

Here's an example for a specific games DirectX file location.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Darksiders Warmastered Edition\_CommonRedist\DirectX\Jun2010
