Some games go only to title screen then back to dashboard

Several games i have installed will only go so far as the title screen before dropping back to the dashboard. Not all of them behave this way ..destiny 2 works , minecraft works ...but overcooked 2 does not .soul calibur 6 does not .

I've reinstalled these games , done the 10 second power cycle , completely reset the system and reinstalled the games, with no difference in behavior . They all work fine on a second xbox one. I've also tried installing the games to an external hard drive
, and that made no difference .

Anything else i can try ?

Thank you for your prompt reply. I’ve already followed those steps to the point that it says to contact the publisher, and seeing as this affects multiple games from different publishers, that doesn’t really make sense.

Try not to install it

Launch the game without a install after that just update the game and go to the title screen

Finally go to back to Xbox Dashboard and try installing the game

Restart the game. After a few seconds at the loading screen, it will drop back to the dashboard.

Without ejecting the disc, go into the Settings app and set the clock to the current date and time.

Back out of settings to the dashboard and try to launch Forza Horizon 4 again.

Got to the title screen, press A to start

Same exact issue, sometimes in-game, sometimes when going to dashboard from in-game, can go back to game and it goes away, back to dashboard, comes back. Only fix is to hard reset. Sometimes comes back right away....sometimes it's fine for weeks. Happens
on many different titles.
