[SOLVED] Unable to install games with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for PC

Hello,

I recently purchased Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for PC, but I am having difficulty installing games from either the Xbox app or the Microsoft Store app. I am getting the error '0x803F8001' when attempting to install an app, which occurs immediately after the
'Acquiring License...' step. I managed to install Sea of Thieves the first day I had Xbox Game Pass, but now if I try to install Forza Horizons 4 or Halo Master Chief Collection it results in the error outlined.

I have tried:

Logging in and out

Using Xbox app or Microsoft Store app

Running wsreset

Resetting the Microsoft Store app in Settings > Apps > Microsoft Store > Advanced Options > Reset

Reinstall Gaming Services (removed via PowerShell, and reinstalled using Microsoft Store)

Repair Xbox app (Settings > Apps > Xbox> Advanced Options > Repair)

Swapping to US region (I purchased Game Pass in Ireland, which is the region I usually use)

And of course restarting

I'm running Windows 10 Professional on the latest version of Windows (according to Windows update) 1909 (OS build 18363.535).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

SOLUTION

I found out the problem, I had recently upgraded my PC and my old configuration was showing up still as a device on my Microsoft account. To get Game Pass working, I had to go to my devices on my Microsoft account, remove my old configuration, then open
the Microsoft Store, go to settings and manually enable Offline Permissions. Now my games open again, and I can download Xbox Game Pass games.

I have tried what you suggested, automatic time zone selection and time setting are both enabled, the time zone is correct (UTC+0 Dublin) and the region is also correct (Ireland). I have restarted my PC and the described error still occurs.

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. I'd be happy to help. Sometimes, incorrect settings of time, date, time zone and region are responsible for creating various problems. It creates many problems when your computer tries to communicate
with any remote server through the internet/network. As you are trying to download or update Windows Store apps or games, it is possible that the Windows Store is showing you error code 0x803F8001 for incorrect time and date settings. So, you should check
and correct these settings Here is how:

Open Settings. You can press Win + I to open settings in Windows 10.
Now, go to Time & Language>Date & time
Then, make sure set time and time zone automatically is on
Under Region & language, please make sure you have correct settings based on where you live.

After doing these things, restart your computer and try to update or download your desired apps or games. Let us know if this helps!

cant install your game on game pass? try these instructions: goto gamepass on pc then find game pass with video then go down and u will see the purchasing orders they are xbox game pass and gamepass ultimate if u want to play ur game then order the ultimate version it unlocks all games complete the order and try to install ur game
