[SOLVED] microsoft account for windows other than Microsoft account for Xbox

Solution.

Open Windows Powershell (Administrator)

Then type or copy/paste this command and press enter:

Get-appxpackage Microsoft.XboxIdentityProvider | Remove-AppxPackage

Restart your PC and install the recently deleted app:

https://apps.microsoft.com/store/detail/xbox-id...

Finally go to Windows Settings > Apps and Features > Xbox app > Reset and Repair, then restart your PC and give it a new try.

I have 2 option to add account in settings.



-Other users - add user

-Family - add user



I created the user (account for xbox) in both but nothing changes.



I tried to change the login account on the microsoft store as suggested by the xbox help center, I open the microsoft store, log out and when I click "sign in" a quick flash appears (looks like a window that closes in a nano second) and it doesn't happen nothing.



To reset the Microsoft Store I have to go to app-select microsoft store-advanced options-reset. In this way the Store is logged in again with my windows account

Would it be possible to buy the windows version with the laptop (prime) account in the store and than log in with the old account? Does it function?

I would by it with the old account, but the Microsoft store runs with the laptop identity (prime account) and it is not possible to buy and register the minecraft with the old account on the laptop with the new account.

Or is there any other possibility to solve the problem?

Microsoft accounts are used for services other than Xbox. A gamertag is attached to that account, so while it may not be in use on the console, it could very well be used elsewhere. Such as a login for Windows 10.
