Solution to Forza Motorsport 6 "Failed to Connect to Multiplayer" error

Long story short, I pre-ordered Forza Motorsport 6 and have not been able to play multiplayer because I continued to get the error message
"failed to Connect to Multiplayer." Today I found the solution. I am with Internet Service Provider Brighthouse, and I use one of their gateways. I don't know if this applies to modem/router connections or just gateways but its worth a shot
if you are having this problem regardless.

Enter the settings on your gateway/router by typing 192.168.0.1 into your address bar and pressing enter

Login in with your account settings which, if you never changed them, are probably ID: "Admin" and Password: "Admin" or "Password"

Go into the Firewall settings and Look for a setting called "IPsec Passthrough"

Enable "IPsec Passthrough" most likely by clicking the checkbox (This is disabled by default in Brighthouse and other gateways)

Save changes

Now check your multiplayer. It should be working now Basically, according to my limited understanding, if the IPsec Passthrough is disabled, it blocks access to your consoles ability to act as a multiplayer server or interact with anyone else's console
as a multiplayer server, thereby limiting you to multiplayer only if it is on a Microsoft or other corporate dedicated server. By enabling IPsec Passthrough, it essentially loosens the NAT restrictions and allows your console to act as a multiplayer server.

This may or may not apply if your NAT type is set at "Strict." If that is the case, go back into your firewall settings and add your consoles IP Address to the DMZ. Or if you are nervous about messing with those settings, then call your Service Provider
and have them add the console to the DMZ. Basically, consoles are different than computers and sometimes need to be outside the firewall to connect properly to the internet. Adding the console to the DMZ basically does just that; it puts the console outside
the firewall, which loosens the security restrictions thereby helping your console NAT type get to an Open NAT status.

Após a ultima atualização do forza 7 esses dias, não estou mais conseguindo me conectar para jogar online.... a mensagem é " não foi possivel recuperar hoppers...não foi possivel se conectar aos servidores do forza motorsport. "



Tenho o forza 6 e conecta normalmente....the division que usa conexão constante tb funciona perfeitamente...oa testes com minha internet no xbox tb estão ok...

Ja faz uns 2 dias q tento conectar o forza 7 multiplayer e não funciona…
