Solution to 4th March update causing freezing on server loading

Hello everyone here's the solution to solve the problem with this most recent update problems of causing freezing and profile corruption

Step 1 On Xbox Dashboard slide along to settings then click system once in system settings select Storage

Step 2 once in storage select your hard drive and then select Games and Apps when you are in the Games and apps file locate your Battlefield 4 file folder

Step 3 once in your Battlefield 4 folder Delete all updates except title update Do Not Delete Anything else like expansion packs or profile saves (unless they are marked as corrupted then you should delete and redownload)

Step 4 once you have deleted all the updates press B a few times to return to the Storage devices screen once there highlight your hard drive and then press the Y button to bring up device options

Step 5 once you have entered device options select Clear System Cache this will then run maintenance on your console which shouldn't take more then 20 seconds

Step 6 Once Clear System Cache is completed you are now clear to play Battlefield 4 once you are in battlefield 4 you will be asked to download the March 4th update named update 8 completed the download of update 8 download time depends on your internet
speed

Step 7 once downloaded has finished you can now play Battlefield 4 without any server loading screen crashes and also take note your profile will not corrupt every time you launch battlefield 4 as well hope this solution helped

Update was decent but not what I expect 3 months into it.

There is an other update coming on March 4th.

 

Xbox One Black Screen whenever I press home button while playing Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag.

This is a known issue that was caused by the February update. The March update, set to be out on March 4th, is fixing this.

 

really? my xbox stucked on loading many times after this update

 

Is this for the 360 or XB1?

 

I solved the same freezing issue by deleting all PREVIOUS updates but I let the latest one be untouched. No cache clearing either. Now the game works. Just a heads up for those who don't have the time and patience to download the 600mb + all cache stored
updates again.

 

This last update (8) seems to of made the game more laggy for me even though I haven't been freezing and I run 30 mbps internet speed its annoying anyone else with same problem?

 

the speed of your internet connection is only a part of it. other players speeds are just as much a factor. a even bigger factor is the quality of your connection. if you see those 4 diamonds in the upper right hand corner of your game, you're having
packet loss issues. make sure you play in your region, lower your network smoothing to under 10%.

 

Same here Blackout. Startet right around the release of SA. This game has been heading downward since day1, and now its like 1 match in a 100 if not 1000 that is even worth playing in my exp. And im sorry to say that all the good advise doesent help. Deleting
all previous updates, clearing cache etc.etc. doesent solve the freezing on Dawnbreaker. Lowering the network-smoothing factor doesent get rid of the lag, and what good does joining youre local server do you when its like a World convention in there. I hate
to say it ,but life is too short for the crappy matches i'v been getting.I could forgive almost anything if the quality of the games where there, but with the way Things have been heading im afraid my days of playing BF4 has come to an end. Its going to be
all about DS2, and PS3 from here on
