Solitaire, Minesweeper, tap tiles and Mahjong are all crashing

Surface Pro 2, bought Oct 23rd 2013. These games have worked fine until just recently. They still work fine on my desk top, just not my Surface.

Running Windows 8.1, all patches are up to date and store does not show any updates needed.

They open, but as soon as it signs me in I get returned to the Windows 8.1 main screen
