Solitaire Collection will not load after April 2018 Windows Update

I have not been able to play Solitaire Collection since Monday, I have uninstalled the program and reinstalled, rebooted my computer twice. Everything else works. So what is going on, says cannot connect to internet, which is incorrect. Help me please

Same here. Microsoft Solitaire Collection stopped working on monday before the Windows 10 update and after still did not work. Tried deleting and reloading and still did not fix the problem. Tried the Windows Store diagnostic tool and still did not fix the
problem. I am now unable to reload the game. I click on the get button in the Microsoft store and it just flashes on and off real quick and loads nothing. I had problems during the last Microsoft Windows 10 update also. Over it!

 

Same problem here on Windows 1803. The sign in/sync causes the whole machine to become frustratingly unresponsive. Thankfully the work around to bring another window to the foreground during the sign in works for me. Thanks!

 

I'm having the same issue. Only, my error message says, "Internet Connection Problem\
We ran into a problem trying to get important Solitaire data. Please refer to error code 124." The only options are to "Try Again," or "Cancel." This has been happening all week. For one singular moment, Solitaire actually worked and I
was able to play the Daily Challenges; however, I had to step away from the computer and put it in Sleep Mode. When I returned, I could no longer connect to Solitaire.

For the record, I have tried running the App Troubleshooter, and uninstalling/reinstalling. However, like SunnierOcean (and many others), I have no problems connecting to Mahjong. Also, for the one time Solitaire worked, I had done nothing to make it work.
Therefore, this seems to be a problem on Microsoft's end. I've noticed that this issue has been happening off and on since 2016. What's happening, and what's the solution?

 

I also have tried everything, Solitaire just doesn't work since the update.

 

Just an update.... I am able to get into Solitaire's Daily Challenges--usually after uninstalling the Solitaire Collection, restarting the computer, going to the Windows Store, reinstalling the game, clicking the menu button (next to the "Pin to Start"
button), clicking on "Game hub," waiting for the Solitaire page to load, then clicking "Play." (Sometimes going through this routine each time I want to complete the Daily Challenges seems more trouble than it's worth, and sometimes I've had to find yet another
work-around if the above-mentioned process didn't work.) Interestingly, even though I've gotten into the game, I'm "signed in" and my progress is being saved in "the cloud," the Events section still says, "Internet Connection Required." The Event Calendar
doesn't work, either. I get the error message: "Event Loading Error\Encountered a problem with loading the events for the selected month. We are sorry for the inconvenience." Likewise, I can't access the Star Club. The Star Club gives the error message:
Error\There was a problem downloading game data for Solitaire. Please check the Solitaire FAQ at
FAQ Archive - Microsoft Casual Games and refer to error code 107. I am, however, able to play the regular games. Is there anyone out there who can explain what is happening, or (better yet) who can figure out the problem
with the Solitaire Collection and fix it?

 

My Windows 10 upgrade happened last week: about Oct 8, 2018. Caused my entire computer system to CRASH. Had only a blank screen. Dell got my computer going again. Several questions please:

1. HOW DO I STOP UPGRADES FROM WINDOWS 10. Each upgrade has done great damage to my computers. PLEASE HELP ME TO STOP THEM!

2. My system is now working "better"... AM A PREMIUM MEMBER OF THE MICROSOFT SOLITAIRE COLLECTION. In fact since I got my system back, I think I have paid about 3 times just to get the games to play. TODAY,,, I am now getting the error message 121003...
like those listed below:

I AM DEFINITELY CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET!!! I updated my password so I could sign up with the game...hoping once they recognized "me", they'd recognized my internet system.

I had no problems before Windows 10 upgrade (Oct 2018) ruined just about everything on my computer. HATE WINDOWS 10. Pam from WI.
